Ink and Watercolour – Line And Wash
Line and wash, ink and watercolour, mixed media. It has many names, but in the article I want to share my love of this medium with you and give you a bit of a tutorial of sorts.
Ink and watercolour is a beautiful medium, in fact it was one of my earliest mediums as a self taught artist.
To the left, you can see one of the ink and watercolour paintings I have made over the years based on a photo I took in Burnley. As you can see, I have used a wide range of techniques to achieve this painting, but for this article, I am going to start with the basics of what you will want to do.
